Naming and Brand Identity

ABOUT

Travis Rice — founder of what we later would name Wooof — asked me to develop his brand together with a catchy name to stand out among the well-researched competition he gathered in the briefing.

We wanted to have a name that is recognizable, easy to remember, and different from what the competition is doing.

We used the onomatopeia of a bark. And to make it different we used three o’s instead of two.

The brand identity aims to communicate playfulness as well as clarity. We used pop colors together with bold typography, giving the brand the friendly vibe dog owners seek when shopping for their beloved animals.
